Through these businesses, Petros advises hundreds of employers, households, individuals, and institutional investors. Petros has provided testimony on enhancing retirement and savings in America to the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee and has made recommendations to the Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans. In Washington State, Petros has testified in support of legislation to expand retirement plan coverage to committees in the Washington State House of Representatives and the Washington State Senate. Petros is an Official Member of the Forbes Finance Council and a regular speaker on financial topics at industry conferences and professional societies. Petros volunteer teaches financial literacy and is known by students as Mr. 401(k). The absence of financial literacy in America's educational system is among the greatest academic shortcomings of the past century. Petros volunteer teaches financial literacy to students and advocates for expansion of financial education programs.
